I am a mother of four, wife of a Veteran, elementary school teacher, and President of Bandwagons Youth Initiative. I am thrilled to work towards making a positive impact on not only my own children and students, but on a larger scale within my current and surrounding communities. This mission is so important to me, and I strive to build BYI into a nonprofit that truly makes a difference for our youth and families through high-quality education and sports.
An Air Force veteran with a deep passion for philanthropic endeavors. I have lived in 8 different states, where I have engaged in a multitude of sports activities for youth and adults. I am a husband and father of four children, and have worked hard to raise productive members of society; spending countless hours coaching and attending my children’s events. I have witnessed the benefit that my investment into my children has had on their lives, and I want to work to invest that same energy into my community. My favorite sports are baseball and football, but I'm eager to engage in any activity that will promote physical fitness and social engagement.
I'm Kayleah, and I am serving as the Secretary. I'm currently finishing out my final semester at Virginia Tech studying animal science. I am so excited to help get Bandwagons Youth Initiative up and running!
My name is Kimberly Nix and I am a Colorado native. I was born and raised in Boulder and have not moved more than 45 minutes away from the home I grew up in. I love Colorado and everything that the people and state have to offer. Growing up I loved being a part of a team, I was involved in playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, and in college, rugby. I’m now a teacher, a mom of two energized kids, and a wife to my best friend. I love to create memorable activities for all styles of learners. I love to spend time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and gardening. I am a firm believer that life is better with laughter.
Mother of two boys who have grown up playing baseball, basketball, and now diving! Given the tremendous impact of team sports on my own family, it is an honor to serve in a way that shows all kids these same opportunities. Lifelong Christian servant in children's programming, 20 year biomedical scientist, and advocate for a level playing field.
